Onsite Guests
For those staying at Greystone on Friday and Saturday night, Kelly and Andy will meet you onsite Friday afternoon as you arrive from 3pm to show you your room and help you settle in.
There will be a short ceremony rehearsal in the afternoon at 4:30pm before heading over to Ironbark Hill Brewery for the welcome drinks event.
Further information regarding your stay will be provided on the day, however reach out to Kelly and Andy if you have any specific questions beforehand.
Ceremony
3:00pm to 3:30pm
(Arrival 2:30pm for seating by 2:50pm)
The ceremony will be held in a beautiful air pavilion chapel with inlaid brass floors and soft natural lighting. Scenic gaps in the structure allow the special moment to be shared amongst the natural beauty of the surrounding gardens and native Australian gum bushland.
Andy and Kelly will tie the knot in a beautifully intimate ceremony involving readings by close friends and family and special appearances by dearest family members.
Rows at the front will be reserved for those involved in the ceremony and immediate family. You are encouraged to ‘take a seat not a side’ anywhere comfortable for you. Those seated next to the aisle will be provided biodegradable confetti to throw in the air over Andy and Kelly as they walk down the aisle at the conclusion of the ceremony.
Make sure you’re not late or you’ll have to wait until after the ceremony has begun to be seated. Ensure you pre-book your taxi and arrive for 2:30pm to be seated by 2:50pm.
Lawn Drinks
3:30pm to 5:30pm
Upon the conclusion of the ceremony the bride and groom will be whisked away for photos around the Greystone grounds while our guests are encouraged to mingle on the lawn with a fresh cold drink, enjoying the beautiful outdoor setting and the company of friends and family.
The Bridal party and Kelly and Andy’s families will be called away at the appropriate times during the session for group photographs and a photograph of all in attendence will be conducted upon completion of family photos.
The lawn drink setting is uncovered, so should you be sun-sensitive please bring a hat or a sun umbrella.
Should it be raining, the lawn drinks will be relocated inside at the reception hall.
Reception
5:30pm to 10:30pm
After lawn drinks, proceedings will move inside to the reception function area for formalities and celebration. Fully air-conditioned with an outlook to the gardens, it features ceiling chandeliers, soft evening lighting and a private bar to continue the fun.
Upon seating, speeches from the Father of the Bride, the Groom and the Best (Wo)man will ensue in a single block, so ensure you pass by the bathroom and the bar on the way to your seat.
Upon the conclusion of the speeches, dinner will be served in a sharing banquet on each table. Fill your belly, settle in with some cracking Aussie wines and strike up a chat with your table-mates!
After dinner enjoy music, drinks and dancing or take time out on the beautiful outdoor patio breakout area with fireplace.
Conclusion
All good things must unfortunately come to an end! Last drinks will be served at 10:30pm with departure for all offsite guests by 11pm.

Kelly & Andy
A chance meeting on a night out in 2018, Kelly and Andy were proud to be the last couple in the world to meet without Tinder. Andy noticed her, and Kelly noticed him noticing her and ‘ka-pow’ – a firework went off somewhere in the distance and instant chemistry ensued. Before they knew it they were dating, living, travelling and building a life together.
A partnership build on common values and complementary personalities, both bring unique attributes to the relationship; each individual feels like the best version of themself and together they’re now more than the sum of their parts.
Kelly was born in England and raised in Hong Kong, before continuing her university studies back in England. She calls the world home and it’s many inhabitants her friends. Her organised and friendly nature has served her well in a decade-long career in TV production and making the organisation of a wedding week look like a Sunday hobby!
Andy was born and raised in Dubbo, country New South Wales. Son of Australian parents with genes that span across Germany, Romania, Ireland and India, Andy inherited Singh by name though there’s no mistaking his quintessential Aussie manner! He’s the creative one, running his own design and marketing business from home and responsible for the wedding ‘brand’ that flows through the itinerary post-outs, website and a few surprise creative touches on the day!
The Engagement
The pandemic era for many was a stocktake on what’s important in life. With the influence of far too many lockdown wines, Kelly and Andy used the time as a chance to align on a shared path forward, strengthening their bond and sketching out a future family vision.
In mid December, just before the year was out, Andy phoned Kelly’s parents who excitedly bestowed their blessings and Andy crafted a surprise day for Kelly, culminating with a proposal on the foreshore of Sydney harbour and a private picnic for two.
She said “of course.”
Parents
Peter and Sue Troy (Kelly)

Mother of the bride Susan has lived in the south of Spain for many years in a nearby region to her parents, and her son Jordan is also nearby in the same country. She has an incredible network of friends, enjoys playing padel tennis, staying fit on long coastal walks and is partial to fresh local seafood and a nice crisp glass of verdelho.
Peter & Barbara Singh (Andy)
Barbara and Peter originally met as twenty-somethings during their studies at Armidale University in the 1970’s before moving to Sydney together after graduation. Work opportunities emerged out west in Dubbo, regional NSW, where they relocated to set up a life and family together.
Now semi-retired, they fill their relaxed days with family, friends, food and fun. A lifelong commitment to both each other and their careers, Barbara is a much-loved school teacher and Peter an accountant and long-serving member of the local Rotary community club.
Andy is the youngest of their two children, the eldest being Eleanor aka ‘Poppy’ who is also a bridesmaid of Kelly’s.
Bridesmaids
Sarah (Maid of Honour)
Instantaneous Hong Kong high school friends, Sarah is a loyal, reliable long-term pal to Kelly. No matter how much time has passed nor how vast the oceans between, the two can pick up exactly where they left off, giggling all the while just like they were back in school.
Born in Yorkshire, England and raised between Hong Kong and Dubai, she resides now in the later with her beloved husband Chris and their sweetheart child Jaxon.
Lara

Lara and Kelly were primary school friends at Hong Kong and it felt like family from day dot. From shared headlice shampoo baths to boogying together in Wan Chai district then in later years cross-country UK uni visits to one another – they’ve truly been through it all.
Lara was born in London, UK but spent many younger years in Hong Kong followed by Abu Dhabi. She now resides in Dublin, Ireland with her charming husband Mark and delightful daughter Isla.
Jade

Jade was born in Holmefirth, Yorkshire and met Kelly at university in Leeds. Her driven and energetic personality matched Kelly’s perfectly and saw them both jetting off on an Aussie adventure around a similar time in their lives.
Kelly has found a lifelong friend in Jade and is grateful she has had her throughout all the highs and lows. Kelly and Andy were lucky enough to share dinner with Jade and her partner Lewis on the night of their engagement, just one of many special moments.
Poppy

Poppy is the elder sister of Andy. Since meeting four years ago, Kelly and Poppy have built a foundational connection where they’ve shared mutual life support, girly catch-ups and cheerful friendship. Kelly feels so lucky to have Poppy in her life and she has fast become the sister she never had.
Poppy resides in the Blue mountains and is the mother of two cherished children, Felix (11) and Josie (6) to father Scott, who lives in Penrith. Andy and Kelly are delighted when they have time to visit them all.
Groomsmen
Nicole (Best Woman & Master of Ceremonies)
Andy and Nicole met during an acting class back in 2015, originally developing a friendship around the stage then through work and Sydney life.
Nicole has known Andy from the early days of “So I’ve met someone named Kelly” through to “Guess what – we’re engaged” and has always been an encouraging and supportive friend throughout. Thus, Andy and Kelly bent the ‘Best Man’ rule and made it simply the best person for the job.
As a marketing and events guru, Nicole is passionate about all things food, drink and culture. Andy feels truly lucky to have a best friend so accomplished and supportive – so much so that he forced her to be wedding MC too! He expects the invoice in the mail.
Jordan

James

Often remarked upon as being his big sister Kelly’s unofficial twin, James is affectionately known as the ‘asian baby’, indulging his love for eastern culinary delights wherever he can. James loves to workout and keep fit whenever he’s not busy being the life of the party with his friends.
Murray

Murray is Andy’s cousin to his mother’s sister Veronika (aka Polly) and clearly the winner of the best groomsmen profile photo award.
Residing in Australia’s capital city Canberra, home to Australia’s parliament, Murray works in government policy. A psychology degree has helped him successfully navigate not just the halls of the Prime Minister’s office but also a sizeable extended family Christmas each year with the Weinert relatives. Each year, Andy and Murray also always look forward to reconnecting and catching up over a beer by the fire at the annual men’s fishing/camping trip each Spring along with Andy’s uncles and father.
Joey

Originally meeting at a campus party at Wollongong university, Joey, Andy (and other uni roommates also at the wedding Eric and Pete) went on to share way too many laughs and fun together over those uni years and all the years since.
Hailing from Canberra but of Swedish roots, Joey once told his roomates that in Sweden all kids from a young age learn to iceskate and to correctly fall with their hands by their sides so they slide safely (avoiding the blades). Of course his roommates didn’t believe him, but Joey insisted that it’s so ingrained in the Swedes that after a certain number of practice falls it simply becomes an automonmous reflex. It wasn’t until the morning after the wildest campus party of the year when Joey emerged from his room with graze marks up the entirety of his neck and chin, his roommates had no other choice but to believe him.
Joey’s accomplished career in robotics engineering has seen him spend time in Singapore and now be invited full-circle back to teach his subject at Wollongong University. Joey enjoys his newfound Dad-mode and lives with endearing partner Annalie and their adored one year old son, Cedric.

About the Selections
Andy and Kelly both come from big drinking lineages and know their friends and family also value a good quality drop!
With the help of two wine aficionado friends (shouts outs to Nic and Hugo) and a whole bunch of hangovers, they’ve put together a selection they are proud to say faithfully represents the spectrum of big flavour and distinct palette Aussie wines are so famous for.
For our international guests who may not be familiar, Aussie wines are typically rich and thick while still being intricate and interesting. While we can’t cover every Aussie region we’ve ensured a handful of the best are on display for you, in addition to a couple of European favourites.
Beers
Crown Lager
An Aussie classic that’s just a little bit special occasion.
A bright golden appearance with a solid creamy head. The fruity aroma transforms to a malty refreshing taste with a smooth, full bodied finish. The slightly lingering bitterness gives a balanced, rounded experience which makes it perfect for a session.
Young Henry’s Newtowner
A pale-ale pick that is Kelly and Andy’s go to Sydney pub jug. Proudly independent brewers Young Henrys “Serve the People” and the people return the love.
Malty caramel bitterness, derived from three varieties of local hops – this beer is fun and a little fruity – just like the eclectic Sydney suburb of Newtown. Plenty of flavour to pair well with a meal.
Bubbles & Rosé
Pigoudet Premiere Vin de Provence Rosé
Provence, France
Kelly’s go-to summer rosé, she always has a bottle of this reliable drop on hand. Delicate and crisp, it’s a balanced blend of traditional varieties of the appellation Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence – Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Very light-bodied, dry and flavoursome but not too sweet – it’s sure to please.
Maschio Prosecco
Treviso, Italy
With this beautiful light and dry bubbly around, who needs champagne! Pouring a light straw yellow, your first impression is a lively frothy nose full of strong candid flavours before a refreshing, crisp finish.
Whites
Tulloch Verdelho
Hunter Valley, NSW
A luscious tropical fruit driven white that is lively and bright, crisply rounded off with a clean dry finish. Originally a Portugese varietal, this Hunter Valley winery has embraced it and made this all their own.
Punt Road Chardonnay
Yarra Valley, VIC
Balanced lemon, vanilla and buttery depth that will create beautiful music with your meal. Pushes beyond the box of a Chardonnay, it’s surprising, elegantly light and eager to crowd-please, subtly oaked, pouring a beautiful yellow.
Reds
Red Hill Estate Pinot Noir
Mornington Peninsula, VIC
Dry, medium bodied cool climate style of Pinot Noir. Fresh and light but generous on flavours of liqueur cherries and spice while slight acidity and silky tannins give it depth and complexity. Pairing well with both red and white meat, it’s an adaptable and satisfying friend in the hand.
Wynns 2013 Black Label Cabinet Sauvignon
Coonawarra, SA
An iconic deep crimson red with a spectacular nose, a well-structured palate and long, refined finish. Blackcurrant, dark chocolate, espresso and sage notes with plush vigorous tannins. Juicy length, charming definition and sophistication. Will further reward alongside lamb. One to savour and smile with.
Spirits
A selection of classic spirits Gin, Vodka, Rum and Whisky will be provided along with mixers, soft drinks and fresh citrus wedges.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
General
Weather
Even though it’s technically Spring, Australia still loves to serve up surprises, especially in 2022 where we’ve broken all-time rainfall records.
While we of course hope for clear blue skies, it’s realistic to plan for the possibility of rain and cooler weather. Pack an umbrella and have a coat on hand just in case.
Should we be unlucky with heavy rain, the only segment that will need to be altered is the movement of the lawn drinks into the reception hall, which we will advise on the day.
What to Wear
On the wedding day please wear formal dress attire. You’re encouraged to get “suited and booted” and/or “dressed to the nines” if that’s your thing. Keep the sportwear or jeans in your suitcase for Saturday however on Friday and Sunday feel free to wear something more relaxed while still stopping short of stubbies and a singlet or gym gear.
Covid-19
All government-imposed restrictions have been lifted Australia-wide as of mid-October.
This means:
- No masks, vaccines or social distancing required
- Should you test positive to covid you are not required to isolate
Hopefully it’ll feel like the old-normal again.
Wedding Day Parking
Greystone Estate parking is reserved for our wedding suppliers, thus space is limited. Please advise the bride and groom ahead of time should you require your own car parking space at the venue.
Is there an afterparty?
While Kelly and Andy would love to continue all night, Greystone Estate has a council-imposed legal hard out at 11pm by which all offsite guests are required to vacate the venue. Should you still have some juice left in your orange, continue the party in town or back at your accommodation.
For those requiring taxi transport from the venue, make sure to pre-book your return travel up to or before 11pm.

Info for International Visitors
About Australia
Coming down under is an experience of a lifetime. It’s a long flight but once you’re off the plane it’s like you’re in another world.
Never-ending stretches of white sandy beaches, winding scenic ocean roads, unique and quirky wildlife and that’s before we even mention the metropolitan pizazz of Sydney.
Sydney Wedding Week Activities
The week preceeding the wedding is filled with activities for Kelly and Andy’s international guests. You’ve put in the hard yards to get here – so it’s time to pack in as much celebration as possible!
There are opportunities for meetups and informal events on every day however some organised highlight events include:
Sunday 30th Oct from 2:30pm
Welcome to Sydney Pub Afternoon
Cruise Bar, Circular Quay (near Darling Harbour)
Wednesday 2nd Nov 1pm to 5pm
Sydney Harbour Catamaran Cruise
(leaving from Kings St Wharf)
Those attending these events have already confirmed their spot with the Bride & Groom in other communications.
Reach out to Kelly for more information or answers to any questions.
Things to do in Sydney
Many of you are staying in Circular Quay, which is a convenient 20 minute cab ride or a direct train from the airport.
Once you reach your accomm, you’ll be right smack bang in the thick of Australia’s tourist district right next to the famous harbour – there is an unlimited amount of amazing things to do right on your doorstep. Some ideas include:
– Grab a ferry to Taronga Zoo or to Manly
– Head over to Bondi and take a coastal walk
– Hit the inner east suburbs like Surry Hills and Darlinghurst for funky bars and brunch spots
– Take a walk across the bridge and explore the harbour foreshore
The options are endless, just watch out for the seagulls while you’re eating lunch!
Travel to and from Sydney and Hunter Valley
Charlie King is generously chartering a minibus to and from the Hunter for the bridal party, so all others guests are encouraged to make their own way there and back.
A hire car is recommended as the most convenient way to travel.
Immigration & Tourist Visas
If it’s your first time arriving in Australia, don’t be put off by the extra border force security checks upon entry. As Australia is the largest island continent in the world there is a vast border to manage and thus they are very strict about biosecurity. As long as you don’t bring any fresh food or have mud on your shoes you’ll be fine!
Covid-19 proof of vaccination, masks and other measures are no longer required in order to enter Australia.
Please see the Australian Immigration website for more information on paperwork (make sure you apply for a tourist visa!) and any particulars regarding your circumstance.
Post Wedding
The week after the wedding will be a relaxed, go-with-the-flow vibe. There are no official events planned, however do let Andy and Kelly know if you’re still in town as they will both be taking an extra week off work to let everything settle in.
Kelly and Andy live just over the other side of the harbour from Circular Quay in McMahon’s Point which is a hop, skip and a ferry/train anywhere!
